Let’s take a closer look at what oxidative stress is, what our mitochondria does, and how each relates to the way our cells create energy, in an easy to understand way.

We all eat and breathe, right? When we eat we take in nutrients, and when we breathe we take oxygen into our bodies. These nutrients and oxygen find their way into our cells where they meet up with our cell’s energy factory, the mitochondria.  Here the nutrients and oxygen are transformed into energy and released into the cells to fuel them to do what they are born to do.
