Style vs Fashion

Having always thought that being in style was the same as being fashionable, I have learned there is a difference!

While Haute Couture, High Fashion, and High Style are all trend setting fashions, Style brings my fashion selections into my choices to create a style all my own. I have noticed that my fashion choices have changed as I have aged, and my body has changed. Oh, Your Beautiful Skin!

Have you ever wondered what each layer of your skin is made up of and what it does? We know there are three main layers –Mammal skin diagram - 2001 by fatboygotsick

  • Epidermis – top layer
  • Dermis – middle layer  (with everything that keeps our face “up”)
  • Hypodermis – the base layer

4 Must Do’s for the Youngest You!

RecLittle Nurse by scarlett_ribbonsently, I received another reminder that I am aging – and fast! I don’t feel a bit over 30, but my body is giving out signs all over the place warning “Detour ~ Icy Roads Ahead!” My orthopedist gingerly described the condition of my swollen hand yesterday like this: “When you have “seen a few days”, the veins on the back of your hands are more fragile.” Seen a few days? More fragile veins? I pictured my grandma when she was 97 years old, with bruises all over her arms and hands! No sir, this is not  for me in the prime of my middle aged youth! Ha!
