Sebaceous filaments are hairlike “threads” that help direct the flow of natural oil produced in your sebum or oil gland to the surface skin. They are light grey to tan, distributed around an oily area such as your nose and chin, and are smooth to touch. When pressure is applied, nothing will be expressed, as the pore is open with nothing plugging the opening.
