Taking a Break!

From time to time, life gives you the unexpected, and sometimes we need to take a thing or two off our plate until all is calm and settled into their rightful places, be they new or old places.

It’s been just about 8 years I’ve been writing posts here every week for your enjoyment. I’ve loved every minute of researching things which may be of interest to you, and also writing about things which were on my heart. As I approach another season of teaching along with my regular work, I think this year I will take a break from writing and give us all a little rest. So, I wish you all good health, and many blessings in the coming weeks until I write again!

I need to escape to my stronghold, my place of safety, after a brutal week. How about you? Rough week, too?

Rough WeekWhether it’s family, health, work or financial issues, or more, I invite you to join me in going to a place of safety with which to escape for a bit. What is your stronghold like? If you don’t have one yet, what would you like it to be like? Mine begins with a window that overlooks trees and hills, the house is quiet, and I have a few chocolate chips near by. Then I focus my heart and thoughts on my place of safety and the one who keeps me safe.

My week was filled with many things out of my control, demanding extra time, more resources, greater complexity, some of which left me feeling used and abused. How about you?
