New Procedure to Correct Receding Gums

Until recently, there have been two methods to correct receding gums – covering the exposed tooth roots with porcelain veneers, and gum tissues grafting. I personally had experience with the root covering, which fell off twice. I’m not a fan of the gum tissue grafts, as the tissue used when you need many teeth grafted would need to come from “another source.” No thank you.

I figured, wait long enough and someone will have a light bulb idea, which has happened. A dentist has developed a simple technique called the “Pinhole technique”.

How it works:
