Women in the Military WWll

Description of her project:

This project is a traveling photography exhibit and a photo-journalism book. The book includes 1,000 military women across all ranks and branches.

“The project began as an effort to honor my mother’s service during WWII as a USN Dispersing Officer. It grew based on interactions I’ve had with female Veterans across 10 years.”

I believe that Therese has interviewed over 900 military women  – she is “humbled by these women who serve in defense of our nation.”
Feel free to like her facebook page and if you feel moved by the many women who have sacrificed their lives for our freedom, please consider supporting her project as she comes close to publication and her exhibit.
“There are not enough words to explain how great these women are!…Hopefully you will come and visit the exhibit at
It is located at the gateway to Arlington National Cemetery and opens on 7 Nov 2014.”
