Acne Face Mapping

Have you seen this face mapping chart? It is said to be based on alternative medicine, which many estheticians are incorporating into their practices. My question – has anyone used this guide to implement treatments that have given good results?

  1. Yes! There are a few different versions but all similar. Usually when acne is not in the hormonal areas (chin), I am lead to digestive areas. That helps me to assess diet and see if there are possibly food allergies. I always recommend a digestive enzyme/probiotic product I carry along with a food elimination diet and journaling. Any acne client I have had that has taken their dietary choices seriously and worked on eliminating wheat/gluten, dairy, sugar, nuts, systematically, sees improvement once they determine the cause of their internal enzyme imbalance.
